This session will highlight several methods and case studies showcasing how the National Park Service provides assistance directly to communities to advance active and healthy living. During the presentation, we will touch on known barriers to Federal-local collaboration, as well as barriers to cross-sector collaboration needed to advance community health and wellbeing, and approaches for mitigation and success. Breakout discussion will dive further into these topics.
